I took these out on a rocky trail this weekend and was surprised how much they cushioned my steps even over sharp stones. The waterproofing kept my feet completely dry crossing a small stream, and they didn't feel heavy after six hours of walking.

The sole grips really well on loose gravel, which gave me confidence on tricky descents. I've worn them for full-day hikes and my feet never felt tired, they're impressively light.

Took these on a rocky ridge trail and my feet felt light the whole way, even with a full pack. They handled the switch from packed dirt to loose scree without any fuss.
