After three days straight on a steep, scree-covered trail, my feet felt far less beaten up than usual — the support is solid without feeling like a cast. The Gore-Tex lining kept my socks completely dry through a surprise stream crossing, which was a relief.

Wore these all day on a rocky trail with a loaded pack and my feet still felt fresh at the end. The Gore-Tex lining kept my socks bone dry crossing a couple of streams. That extra ankle support on steep descents was a lifesaver.

After a week of carrying a heavy pack up steep rocky trails, my feet still felt fresh at the end of each day thanks to the reliable ankle support. The grip on loose scree was noticeably better than my old boots, and they didn't need any breaking in.
