VETTA SYNTH GTX®

Took these on a via ferrata last weekend and the GTX lining kept my feet perfectly dry through a stream crossing. The sole grips well on wet rock, which gave me confidence on exposed sections.

The synthetic upper broke in way faster than my old leather boots, maybe three hikes. Gripped the wet rock sections on a mixed-terrain loop without slipping once, and my feet stayed dry through a stream crossing.

Wore these on a rocky via ferrata and the synthetic upper shrugged off scuffs that would've shredded my old leather pair. Stiff enough underfoot for edging on mixed terrain, but they broke in after a couple of hikes.
