AKRON MID GTX®

Wearing these on a steep, rocky trail, the mid-cut support really locked my ankles in place—no wobbling even on loose gravel. The waterproofing held up through a sudden downpour, and the fit was snug right out of the box. Exactly what I needed for serious day hikes.

After a long day of scrambling over rocky trails, my ankles still felt fresh thanks to the mid-cut design. The grip on loose gravel was surprisingly confident right out of the box.

These boots handled a steep, rocky descent without my ankles feeling unstable once. The Gore-Tex lining kept my feet completely dry crossing wet grass in the morning, and I love the secure mid-cut support.
