The low-cut design gives me just enough ankle freedom on loose scree without feeling unstable. I’ve worn them for three straight weekends on mixed terrain and the grip on rock is noticeably better than my old shoes.

Took these out on a rocky ridge scramble and the grip on scree was spot-on, no slipping even on loose gravel. The low-cut fit feels like a sneaker but handles tech terrain like a proper approach shoe. Only wish I’d bought them a half size up for thicker socks, but they're breaking in nicely.

I've been using these almost daily for rocky trails, and the low-cut design gives me great ankle mobility on uneven terrain. The fit is snug enough to feel secure on technical scrambles without being uncomfortable.
