The grip on mixed rock and loose gravel is seriously confidence-inspiring; I felt way more planted than in my old approach shoes. They're light enough that I forgot I was wearing them by the second pitch, yet the ankle support still felt solid on the way down.

Raced up a technical scree slope this morning and the grip on these is insane — never once felt like I’d slide. They’re surprisingly stable on rocky descents too, which I wasn’t expecting from such a lightweight shoe.

First few steps in these and I knew the fit was dialed—the heel lockdown is perfect even on steep descents. Broke them in on a mixed ridge traverse and they handled the damp granite without slipping once.
