DRAGONTAIL MNT EVO GTX®

The grip on wet granite was noticeably better than my old shoes, and the heel cup locked my foot in place perfectly on steep descents. I felt confident on every sketchy move during the approach.

Took these on a scrambly approach to a limestone crag and the toe box stayed stiff enough to trust on small edges. The lacing goes way down toward the toes, so I could dial in the fit for the technical sections.

The grip on wet limestone is honestly what sold me — I never felt my foot slip once on a technical descent. The GTX lining kept my feet dry through a full day of drizzle too.
