The tread pattern really digs into rock slabs, giving me confidence on technical scrambles where other shoes would slip. I've used them for three approaches now and the grip on wet granite is noticeably better than my old approach shoes.

I was a bit worried they'd feel stiff, but the low-cut design lets my ankle move freely while still providing solid support on uneven ground. Very happy with how they performed on the hike.
