9.81 ONYX GTX®

Wore these on a wet granite descent and the grip never slipped once. The support is surprisingly stiff for how agile they feel on the approach. Transitions between scrambling and walking are seamless, exactly what I wanted.

These are the lightest approach shoes I've owned and the grip on wet rock is seriously confidence-inspiring. The transitions from trail to scrambling feel quick thanks to how stiff the sole is under the toe, though I did need a few days to break in the collar.

Bought these for a via ferrata trip and the grip on wet rock genuinely surprised me. They're light enough that my feet didn't feel beat up after six hours, and the transitions between scrambling and hiking felt quick.
