Took these on a rocky trail last weekend and the grip on loose gravel genuinely surprised me. They're light enough that my feet didn't feel beat up after 12km, though the flexibility means I wouldn't trust them on anything too technical.

Bought these for a muddy spring hike and the traction on wet roots surprised me. They're light enough that my feet didn't feel weighed down, but the ankle support still felt solid on the uneven sections.

Did a rocky 12km loop and my ankles felt locked in the whole way, which is rare for something this light. The grip on wet roots surprised me too. Only thing is they run a touch warm in summer, but for shoulder-season hiking they're spot on.
