The very first thing I noticed was how stable my foot felt on uneven ground right out of the box—no break-in period at all. I’ve worn them for a full day of heavy pack carrying and my ankles still feel supported. Classic boot styling that actually performs.

I’ve put in over 20 miles on rocky trails in these boots, and the ankle support is noticeably stiffer than my old pair. The laces held tight through stream crossings and the sole gripped well on wet rock.

I slipped these on for a long day hike and the Vibram sole bit into loose gravel with total confidence. The leather upper feels substantial but didn’t require a painful break-in period. Definitely my go-to for carrying a heavy pack.
