After a full day on rocky terrain my feet still felt solid and supported, the Gore-Tex kept them completely dry through a creek crossing. The sturdy build gives great confidence on steep descents without feeling like lead weights.

I was a bit worried they’d be stiff, but the Gore-Tex lining kept my feet dry through a surprise downpour on an alpine traverse. The ankle support is noticeably better than my old boots, and after ten miles I had zero hotspots.

Finally got these out on a proper multi-day route and the Gore-Tex lining kept my feet bone dry through a morning creek crossing. The ankle support is noticeably more rigid than my old boots, which gave me solid confidence on the steep scree fields.
