Finally got to take this out on a hot alpine hike and the breathability is exactly what I needed. The reduced CO2 footprint is a nice bonus, but I bought it for the performance in high heat.

The lower CO2 footprint honestly wasn't why I bought these, but it's a nice bonus on top of how they handled the heat on my August hikes. Light enough for long climbs and they didn't wear me down.

Took these on a two-week alpine trip and the lower footprint was a nice bonus on top of how they performed. They held up on rocky scree without any real wear, which I wasn't expecting for something this light.
